Starting therapy is a collaborative process. We will work together to set specific goals, identify areas of change and growth, and discuss tools and strategies to help you achieve your life or career goals.
When you first call with your questions or concerns, you can expect a return phone call from me within 24 hours to go over some general intake information. Then, I will set up a counseling appointment for you to meet with me in person for an initial session. At this time, you will have an opportunity to discuss your counseling needs in depth, provide some background information about yourself and the issues that you are struggling with at present. We will then discuss about the best treatment options and what techniques might be helpful for your individual needs.
I will also be checking in with you frequently to make sure that you are receiving the kind of support and help you expected and we will continue to tailor our counseling needs accordingly.
